HOW DO I PLACE AN ORDER?
Click the link to visit our online storefront (or visit it directly at https://kyte.site/health-by-plants). The site contains near realtime availability. Simply add the items to your cart and checkout!
DO I NEED TO CREATE AN ACCOUNT TO PLACE AN ORDER?
For now, yes. It's similar to checking out on many online stores. This is the only way we know who you are and how to contact you. The site we use for our online store has a guest checkout option, however it does not require the user to enter any contact information. Hopefully they add that later.
HOW DO I KNOW WHEN I CAN PICKUP MY ORDER?
We do need some lead time to get your order together. Often the produce is still in the fields and will need to be harvested and prepared (washed). Once we have acknowledged your order, we will text or email you with a link to choose a pickup time. You can choose any available half hour window to pick up your order.
HOW DO I PAY FOR MY ORDER?
Our preferred method is cash and exact change is appreciated. There will be a cash box on the pickup stand where you can deposit your payment. Alternatively you can pay by check, PayPal or credit card. PayPal and credit cards do cost us extra and while we do not charge a fee for these, paying cash helps us keep the cost of our produce down! If you need change you can also tell us what denomination you will be bringing and we can leave the change with your receipt.
WHAT DO I DO WHEN I ARRIVE?
First of all you can ignore the "Private Drive" sign! You will see signage directing you where to go. As you pull in our drive you will see two "Order Pickup" signs. The second sign points directly to our pickup stand (on the right as you pull in). The stand is located in an area where we will be able to maintain proper social distancing. You do not need to check in with anyone, simply deposit your payment in the box (unless you paid in advance), and remove your items from the stand and you are on your way! We only allow one pickup per half hour pickup time so under most circumstances only your order will be on the stand. In the event that there are more than one they will be labeled.
ARE ANY OTHER ITEMS AVAILABLE FOR PURCHSE ON SITE?
Generally all orders must be arranged in advance. On occasion we may have other items set out and available for purchase such as pumpkins or winter squash. If you decide to purchase something, just deposit your payment in the box. These are on the honor system.
CAN I WALK AROUND WHILE I'M THERE?
Sorry, not at this time. We are a working farm and given the current pandemic, we cannot give any walk arounds. As you pick up your order you will have a clear view of our growing area!
